Have you ever listened to handbells being played and said, "I could never do that!" I dare say that almost every handbell player has said this at one time or another, before building the courage to come to a rehearsal and find out differently! We take the time to study and understand the physical techniques needed to produce and stop the sound of the bell. We show non-musicians how to begin looking at a musical staff and understand the hidden language which produces such wonderful results. And we have great fun doing it!Crescendo HandbellsFor those who are interested in what handbells are all about, a great entry point for the curious. It does not take a master musician to play these instruments; rather, a simple ability to count from one to four, is all that it takes! We teach the rest! In addition, the experience is filled with fun, camaraderie and a sense of accomplishment in producing great music quickly and simply.Ages: Grade 6 to Adult
Joyful Noise HandbellsFor those who desire a challenging experience with moderate to advanced handbell techniques. This group is a natural progression for those who understand basic handbell techniques and want to take it a little further. The rehearsals are fast moving and the fellowship is fun!
